Terms of Use

Effective October 16, 2026

Nail Tech Made Simple is operated by AQC Technologies LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("we" and "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. They apply when you use nailtechmadesimple.com or buy our books. By buying or using them, you agree to these terms.

What you're buying

Our books are digital PDF files, in English. Right after purchase, we email you a link to your library, where you can download them anytime. Prices are in US dollars and are a one-time payment; there is no subscription. Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it.

How you can use the books

When you buy, you get a personal license to use the books for your own study. You can keep the files on your own devices and print copies for yourself.

You may not share, resell, upload, or otherwise distribute the files, or use them to create a course, class, or competing product. The books and everything in them are © AQC Technologies LLC.

An independent study aid

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), the Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation, any state board of cosmetology or of barbering and cosmetology or other state licensing agency, the National-Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC), PSI Services LLC, Prometric, Pearson VUE, Prov, Milady, or Pivot Point. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe what the books cover.

We are not a licensed beauty school. The books never count toward any state's required training hours.

What the books cover

The books are a study aid for the written (theory) part of the nail tech licensing exam. They are not a guide to the practical exam. They are organized by the published Texas TDLR, PSI national and NIC written exam outlines. They don't cover your state's laws and rules unless a book is sold as a state pack, and states that write their own exams may test topics the books don't cover.

The books don't replace your school, your textbook, or your state board. Exam content and state requirements change, so always check your candidate bulletin and your state board.

The books describe health and safety topics, such as nail and skin conditions and blood exposure, so you can study for an exam. They are not medical advice.

We work hard to keep every page accurate. If you spot an error, please email us and we'll fix it.

No guarantee of results

We can't promise that you'll pass your exam. Results depend on many things, including how you study. If the books don't help you, our 7-day money-back guarantee (nailtechmadesimple.com/refund) applies.

Limitation of liability

The books and website are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.
